Not mine! No announcements or hints of forthcoming announcements intended here. Our stork sign is currently switched off! Just a peek at a maternity shoot I did a few months ago that somehow never made it to blog press.

Tea Time
Tea service is one English tradition I have become very fond of. I mean who doesn't like cute, little savory sandwiches and scones with sweet jam and decadent clotted cream and a selection of pastries that are equal parts beautiful and delicious? Oh, and then there's the tea! And so it might go like this: tea, sandwich, tea, pastry, tea, scone, tea, pastry, tea sandwich, tea, scone, tea pastry, and on and on and on until the tea pot is empty! It's completely fab! And what's even better is having tea with friends!
This is what happens when I get in the photo! Sorry Laurel! You should have been in my spot and not part of the blurry background :(

Friends
What could be better than a sunshiny evening of dessert and bubbles with friends? I'll tell you! Learning that the friends for which this farewell evening was planned are not leaving after all! Yahoo! In fact both these families were supposed to have moved away from London, and happily they are not!

Return to the Cotswolds
I loved the Cotswolds so much when Scott and I visited in June that I couldn't resist taking my parents out there on their last day with us in London . . .

Mom and Dad Trip Part III: Salzburg
Salzburg is associated with the sound of music for both Americans and Europeans alike, albeit for very different reasons. The birthplace of Mozart and home to the world famous music festival held each August, Salzburg holds its place firmly on the world's musical map. For Americans Salzburg conjures up images of Julie Andrews alive with music as she twirls on a grassy hillside or skips through a park. Either way, Salzburg is truly music to the ears!
The Festung Hohensalzburg (gotta love Dallin's super cheerful we're-taking-another-photo face; he has been through more photo pain than the others, so we'll cut him some slack)

Mom and Dad Trip Part II: Vienna
A stately city in the most exquisite sense, Vienna is a wonderfully sane and orderly stop on any central European itinerary. It's my third time to this city, and although most of the city's main sights are found along the compact inner core of the city's ring, I still find new discoveries each time I visit. Vienna is a delight.
