After returning to LA from France, we had less than 12 hours before the kids and I were on a plane to New York. It was a little nuts, but I was honestly surprised at how well it all went. Thanks to Kami for driving up to LA with the kids, and grateful I actually slept a bit that night before our early wake-up call. We made it to New York, settled into our West Village apartment rental, a 4th floor walk-up, ready to explore this amazing city. We had an incredible week. We saw it all and enjoyed all New York has to offer in the summer. I fell pretty hard for New York and hope that someday I'll get to live here for a bit. After our week in NYC we bade farewell to our amazing 6-week summer trip to the USA. It was wonderful!
