On my way home from Lesvos I had a long layover in Athens. Even though I had been before I wasn't going to waste a sunny Greek day sitting inside the airport. So I head out, with my gear on my back looking rather disheveled from my time working on Lesvos and revisited some beautiful places in Athens. I had a wander through Syntagma Square, the Plaka and up the Acropolis.
