Slovenia Days 3 & 4

I think if you ask any of the seven kids on this trip, they'd all agree that the river rafting excursion was their favourite part of our week on Lake Bled.  I think it made near the top of the list for all the grown ups too.  Such a fun day on the river!  We were led by a team of fun guides, whose cameras captured all the fun we had down the river.  It killed me a little not to bring my own, but this wasn't a Disney ride, no where safe and dry to stash the gear.  So thanks to the guides' point and shoot cameras, we have a fun record of the kids' choice award of the trip.
















After a fun, but exhausting day on the river, we opted for a simple fruit buffet for dinner at the rental house.  It was a gorgeous evening, and so nice to spend a little down time together.












Day 4 brought us back lakeside.  This would be our most full on lake day of the trip, and boy did we do it all!  We started the day with a little geocaching fun up the mountainside over the lake.  It was a steep climb, but the fun of the hunt had all the little legs (and minds) engaged on the prize.  Need to include geocaching on future hikes, so much fun!




Grand views would be our hike's reward, that might be a photographer's geocache.

We rented row boats to explore the small island in the middle of the lake.  Once we got the hang of it, we had a lot of fun.
























A Lake Bled wedding greeted us ashore the island, we were just a tad underdressed.

We ended the day with a bit of paddle boarding, everyone had so much fun giving this a go.


























We concluded the day with a relaxing lakeside dinner, and that wrapped pretty much a perfect day on Lake Bled!
