Malta: Mosta and Mdina

Malta is only 122 square miles, one of the smallest countries in the world. It's fun and easy to explore. At the centre of the main island lies one of Malta's jewels, the village of Mdina. A charming walled city, this picturesque town is something out of a storybook. Nearby Mosta is a bit more down to earth, and boasts a famous war relic. Its massive domed church was bombed, only for some reason the bomb didn't detonate preserving the lives of those who had sought refuge inside the church.
