School begins tomorrow. Where did the summer go? As soon as Dallin's school ended at the beginning of July I had this feeling that I better fasten my seatbelt, because our summer ride would be a fast and crazy one. I was right. With a continual procession of guests and travels this summer has felt like summer on steroids. And so I am about a month behind on photo processing/blogging. We headed to central Europe with my parents the first week in August. We split eight nights among three amazing cities, Prague, Vienna and Salzburg.
Prague in a nutshell . . .
The utterly mind-boggling Jewish Cemetery . . .
Jewish Quarter
Old Town Square
On board our evening carriage ride
St. Vitus Cathedral, Prague Castle
"We the girls" in front of the very feminine pink arm of the Prague Castle complex
Making us proud!
Charles Bridge . . .
Old Town Square
New Town threshold
Wenceslas Square
"I ride the Daddin"
Astronomical Clock
So for those who complain that I'm never in any photos, count 'em!

i get very homesick when i visit your blog. it's painful. and then i get all sorts of homesick for you. that's painful too. then i wish we were sisters. or neighbors. again.
loved all of these. bravisimo. hope you publish a book someday on travel. hope the prose and the photographs are all S. Ashton originals. i would buy it and make everyone in my book club buy it.
love you...
Sensational photos as always. Can't wait to see more.
SO good to "see" you again!! i keep checking but I knew you were busy...hopefully now we'll see more of you now that life ha gotten a little back to normal! ;) miss you!
Prague is just as beautiful as I remember it as a teenager. You have such a way with the camera these could all be part of the Prague guide book.
How confronting is the chapel next to the cemetery with the name all over the walls and ceiling? G
