I had the opportunity to shoot this one-of-a-kind family. This family makes things happen. Nothing gets in their way. They're constantly doing, making, going, creating and serving. They remind me of the famous 1940's image, Rosie the Riveter, with "We can do it!" emblazoned across the top. This is certainly their approach to life. Their lives are full, but what's most special about them is how much of this fullness they share with others.
While it was virtually impossible to compose images with all four lively boys in happy harmony, it was no less a visual treat to be behind this camera. Who cares if the hair isn't perfectly coiffed, or if smiles sometimes come out a little crooked? I was thrilled that this red/brown-haired bunch chose such a warm wardrobe color scheme. The warm reddish tones of these images really reflect the warmth this family exudes more than perfectly cooperative hair and smiles would.

The one of the 4 boys is AWESOME. Great job.
I love that "the bike" is in the picture! Great pics!
I bet they were very happy with these.
Seriously! So stinkin' good!!! Congrats on an outstanding shoot! Do you have the bug even worse now? You did GREAT!!
These pics are amazing! As much as I want to wait for it to warm up, I'm dying for you to take pictures of my girls. Let's hope for a warmer day soon!
you are so talented. your pictures are wonderful
I have to jump on and tell you what beautiful photography you do. I'm Laurel's SIL and linked to your blog to see their family portraits and ended up staying on your blog for a while, enjoying all your work.
I even had to show my husband when he got home because we went on an Alaskan cruise 5 years ago and we enjoyed the trip down memory lane through your photos. My husband's exact comment was "of all the photographer sites you show me, I like her the best" - I was baiting him. Now he has to take me to London to have photos taken :)
Hey there! I just got the note you left on my blog. Thank you so much...we think she's pretty cute also ;-) We are planning on one more...I don't know how you do it with 3! All I have to say is that Mommies don't get enough credit because this is hard (but SO rewarding) work!
Great photos once again...I'm always impressed with what you do.
Any mom would be over the moon to have a picture of her four kids as darling as that second-to-last one that you captured of these boys. Nice job!
