Home for the Holidays

We've done our best to make this feel just like home, but no matter how many decorations we hang or how much nostalgic Christmas music we play we are decidedly not home for the holidays. Sometimes I wish I could click the heels of my dusty flip-flops and magically appear home, but as this is London (and not Oz) we are hoping to blend the happy holiday memories we cherish with any new festive traditions we might discover to find a new kind of home for the holidays.

Happy Christmas!

After discovering your blog address on your Facebook page, I've become hooked on seeing what beautiful sight I will see next on here. You truly are such an amazing photographer. Both of these photos in particular are just stunning. Hope your family is doing well.

Christmas will be fine. You have your little family and they will have great memories I'm sure.

Beautiful tree, beautiful baby boy. (We can still call him a baby, right?)
I feel sure that you'll always remember your European holidays with fondness. I'd love to hear more of the details, like what traditions they do there that are different, how the logistics of the holiday differ (shopping, tree-finding, cooking, etc.)

Go buy some poppers. Where the hats around and embrace the fact that you are in LONDON for Christmas. Seriously, that is cool! OUTSTANDING camera work! Wowwieee!! ;)

THAT is THE CUTEST picture ever. How is it you had your camera right at the exact moment? this is why I am not the photographer and YOU are!

I hear there are new fun things that are "tradition" in your neck of the woods...maybe add those and have a "traditional" english christmas this year!

ps--now that you live on another continent, i think we are better friends! I'm glad I know you and I'm glad you are okay knowing me!!! I very much enjoy reading up on your life & seeing your incredible pictures...keep 'em comin'!
